One habit at a time, built on what you actually eat.
Not a meal plan. We analyse what you're actually eating and change one thing at a time until it sticks. To analyse, we look at photos of everything you're eating.

Who this coaching suits
People struggling to lose weight
The number on the scale won't shift, no matter what you cut back on. Usually it's not effort that's missing, it's visibility into what you're actually eating day to day. This is coaching that finds the pattern and works on it, one change at a time.
People struggling to build muscle and feeling low on energy
Consistent in the gym, but nothing's changing — no strength gains, no energy, no visible difference. Food is usually the missing half, and it's easier to fix once someone can see the whole week rather than the version you remember.
People with joint aches carrying extra weight
Knees, hips or a lower back that complains more than it used to, made worse by extra weight. Losing even a modest amount changes the load on those joints, and food is where that starts.
How nutrition coaching works
We assess your current behaviours and set the end goal.
We look at what you're doing now, and agree what the end goal actually is, so every change afterwards is working toward something specific.
We review your current nutrition.
What's working, what isn't, and where the easiest improvements are. To see it clearly, we look at photos of everything you're eating.
We start with small, easy wins.
Changes small enough that they don't feel like a project, so making the change feels close to effortless.
We reassess your progress.
Accurate measurements, not guesswork, so you always know exactly where you stand against the goal.
Why one change at a time works
Busy adults already have a lot on their plates, and most nutrition advice fails by asking for six changes at once during a normal working week. Changing one thing is slower on paper and considerably faster in practice, because the thing you changed is still there in month three.
People who make changes that are genuinely sustainable see far greater long-term success than people chasing an overhaul. Change here is built to feel easy and achievable, not overwhelming.
The photographs matter for the same reason. Written food diaries quietly edit themselves. A photo record shows the pattern — the days that go well, the hour when they stop going well, and what was actually available at that hour.
How coaching starts
It starts with a conversation.
What you eat now, what your week looks like, what you've tried before and what made you stop. No plan is written in that first conversation.
Then a week of photographs, with nothing changed.
We need to see the normal week before we alter it. Nothing is asked of you in that week except the photos.
Then the weekly rhythm begins.
You keep photographing, we review, you get a written report and one change to work on. Coaching is ongoing between reports rather than a monthly appointment.
Then it compounds.
One change a week is around a dozen a quarter, each of which had time to become normal before the next one arrived.
What you get
An initial conversation about your week, your food and your history.
A daily photograph record that you build as you go, with no logging or weighing.
A written weekly report: what's working, what isn't, and the one change next.
Ongoing coaching between reports rather than one appointment a month.

When this is the wrong service
It is not for anyone who wants a set meal plan with grams and timings. That is a different service and we do not provide it.
It is not the right route if you are managing a medical condition through diet, or have been referred for medical nutrition therapy. See a dietitian.
FAQs
Usually, yes. Nutrition coaching most often runs alongside personal training, because food and training work better together and the same team sees both sides of it. It can also be taken on its own. Because physiotherapy, coaching and nutrition are under one roof, what you eat isn't a separate conversation with a separate business that never speaks to whoever is training you.
The same coach throughout. Nutrition coaching at Horizon is currently delivered by one coach, so nothing is handed on midway and nobody has to reread your week from scratch.

No. This is practical coaching and habit support, not clinical dietetics. If you need more than habit coaching, for a diagnosed condition or on a doctor's instruction, we have a dietitian on board we can refer you to.
No — coaching is always open, so you can start the week you decide to. Your written review lands weekly from then on.
